2022年9月，智慧供应链研究中心研究员陈猛博士与中国科学技术大学刘和福教授以及佛罗里达州立大学Xinlin Tang副教授合作的研究论文“Do More Concentrated Supplier Portfolios Benefit Firm Innovation? The Moderating Roles of Financial Slack and Growth Opportunities”被International Journal of Operations and Production Management（IJOPM）接收。IJOPM是运营管理领域权威期刊，其2021年影响因子为9.36，被列为ABS列表的Level 4期刊。
In September 2022, Dr. Meng Chen’s paper, entitled “Do More Concentrated Supplier Portfolios Benefit Firm Innovation? The Moderating Roles of Financial Slack and Growth Opportunities”, is published by International Journal of Operations and Production Management (IJOPM). This is a joint work with Prof. Hefu Liu (University of Science and Technology of China) and Associate Prof. Xinlin Tang (Florida State University). IJOPM is an ABS-4 ranked journal with an impact factor of 9.36 in 2021.
该研究探讨了制造企业财务冗余和成长机会如何影响供应商组合集中度的创新效应。基于知识搜寻视角，研究提出并发现供应商组合集中度与创新绩效存在正U型关系。此外，财务冗余削弱并翻转该U型关系，而成长机会将强化该U型关系。该研究为制造企业基于自身资源禀赋，利用供应商组合促进创新提供了重要的实践指导。该研究得到了科技部国家重点研发计划项目(批准号：2018YFB1601401)和国家自然科学基金项目的资助(批准号：72001155；72102116)。
This paper aims to explore how financial slack and growth opportunities influence the effect of supplier portfolio concentration on firm innovation in manufacturing industries. This study builds on the knowledge search view to theorize a U-shaped effect of supplier portfolio concentration on firm innovation. It further proposes that the U-shaped effect is contingent on financial slack and growth opportunities. The results indicate that supplier portfolio concentration has a U-shaped effect on firm innovation. This U-shaped effect is weakened and flipped by financial slack but strengthened by growth opportunities. The findings provide important implications for manufacturers to leverage supplier portfolios to improve innovation performance according to their resource endowment. 陈猛博士于中国科学技术大学获得管理学博士学位，主要研究领域为数字化供应链管理，包括供应链关系管理、数字化商业模式创新以及非市场战略。主持国家自然科学基金青年基金1项，在ABS-4期刊《International Journal of Operations & Production Management》和ABS-3期刊《Industrial Marketing Management》、《Information & Management》、《Decision Support Systems》发表多篇论文。他目前担任中国信息经济学会第八届理事会理事，《Internet Research》(ABS-3)编委，《Industrial Management & Data Systems》(ABDC-A)编委和客座副主编，中国科学技术大学长三角科技战略前沿研究中心(CASTER)特约副研究员。
Dr. Meng Chen obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China. His research interests focus on digital supply chain management, including supply chain relationship management, digital business model innovation, and nonmarket strategies. He has received the Young Scholar Grant from the National Natural Science Fund of China and has published in an ABS-4 ranked journal, i.e., International Journal of Operations & Production Management, and ABS-3 ranked journals, such as Industrial Marketing Management, Information & Management, and Decision Support Systems. Dr. Chen is a council member of the China Information Economics Society. He also serves as an editorial board member of Internet Research (ABS-3) and as a Guest Associate Editor of Industrial Management & Data Systems (ABDC-A).
