Conference on International Accreditation of Dongwu Business School Held Online

On the afternoon of April 13, 2022, Dongwu Business School held the International Accreditation Promotion Conference & Curriculum Improvement Seminar. The meeting was held online through Tencent Meeting platform due to the COVID pandemic. More than 100 faculty members attended the meeting and had a live discussion.

Professor Bo FENG, Dean of Dongwu Business School, firstly made comprehensive arrangements for the continuous improvements of the international accreditation of the School, and proposed specific goals and a clear schedule for the future work. Subsequently, following experts demonstration and speech by the heads of the Departments, the faculty members had a heated discussion on curriculum improvement and development. Finally, the vice deans made a specific explanation and action plan on curriculum design, syllabus improvement and course PPT revision.

Through this conference and seminar, the faculty members have gained a deeper appreciation of the integration of the “UN Concepts of Responsibility and Sustainability” into education system, and a better understanding on promoting the high-quality and sustainable development of China through curriculum development and improvement. The meeting have also sparked innovative ideas and stimulated some positive discussions on the practice of curriculum improvement.
