Notification of Scientific Research Achievements: Dr. Meng CHEN’s Research Results Published in Authoritative Journal IJOPM
In February 2022, Dr. Meng Chen’s paper, entitled “Data ****ytics capability and servitization: the moderated mediation role of bricolage and innovation orientation”, is online published by International Journal of Operations & Production Management (IJOPM). This is joint work with Xiaodie Pu, Zhao Cai, Alain Yee-Loong Chong and Kim Hua Tan (Nottingham University) as well as Mengru Zhang (University of Science and Technology of China). IJOPM is an ABS-4 ranked journal with an impact factor of 6.629.
This paper aims to explore how data ****ytics capability affects servitization. Grounded on dynamic capability theory, it proposes and verifies that bricolage partially mediates the positive relationship between data ****ytics capability and servitization and innovation orientation positively moderates this effect.These findings open the black box of how data ****ytics capability affects servitization. It offers valuable insights for practitioners to leverage data ****ytics to improve servitization through developing bricolage and cultivating a culture of innovation orientation. This research is supported by the National Key R&D Program of China [grant number (2018YFB1601401)] and National Natural Science Foundation of China [grant numbers (72001155 and 72102116)].
Dr. Meng Chen obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China. His research interests focus on digital supply chain management, including supply chain relationship management, digital business model innovation, and nonmarket strategies. He has received the Young Scholar Grant from National Natural Science Fund of China and has published in academic journals in IJOPM, Industrial Marketing Management, Information & Management, Decision Support Systems, and the Chinese Journal of Management. Dr. Chen is a council member of the China Information Economics Society. He also serves on the editorial board of Internet Research and as a Guest Associate Editor of Industrial Management & Data Systems.
