On December 18, 2024, the Business School of Soochow University received the official notification from the Initial Accreditation Committee (IAC) of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) that the Initial Self-Evaluation Report (iSER) submitted by the Business School of Soochow University has been approved. This is a significant progress in the AACSB accreditation of the Business School and another important milestone achieved by the School after the successful approval of AACSB Unit Appliacation (UA) in July 2022 and Eligibility Application (EA) in February 2023, marking the School's imminent entry into the accreditation process. This achievement signifies that the School is about to enter the most important program implementation phase of the accreditation process, and will also lay a solid foundation for the School to achieve final accreditation.
In the next phase, the Business School will carefully study the feedback from IAC, focusing on the mission and vision of the School. The School will carry out continuous improvement in strategic planning, faculty qualification and AOL system construction, in accordance with the latest AACSB accreditation standards, interpretive guidelines and other official documents. The School will try their best to fully prepare for the submission of the annual Progress Report (PR) on schedule, and strive to welcome the AACSB Accreditation Peer Reviewers (AACR) as soon as possible.
