Thomas W Archibald是爱丁堡大学博彩平台 教授，主要研究方向为运营管理、供应链管理、随机动态优化、水资源评估与可持续发展等方面。在国际顶级期刊（UTD24）Management Science、Operations Research、Productions and Operations Management，以及 Naval Research Logistics 、European Journal of Operational Research、Journal of the Operational Research Society等权威期刊及相关会议上发表论文80余篇，出版学术专著10余部。目前担任A类期刊Journal of the Operational Research Society的主编，Environmental Modeling and Assessment的副主编。
摘要：Drawing on over 25 years’ experience of academic research, the speaker will provide advice on how to best prepare a paper for publication and insight on the peer-review process. The talk is aimed at early-career researchers, but will cover issues that should be of wide interest.
