Dr. Ifeyinwa Juliet Orji’s paper “Closing the gap: The role of distributed manufacturing systems for overcoming the barriers to manufacturing sustainability” was recently accepted by IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (IEEE-TEM). The paper investigated the sustainability barriers in the Chinese manufacturing sector and determined how DMS impacts these barriers and relates to sustainable performance. IEEE-TEM is a well-established, highly successful, and leading journal reporting manufacturing, production, and operations management research. IEEE-TEM is ABS 3 ranked and JCR Q1 journal with an impact factor of 2.784.
Juliet Orji，苏州大学智慧供应链研究中心、苏州大学东吴博彩平台 电子商务系助理教授，大连理工大学博士，曾在麻省理工学院的全球供应链和卓越物流（MIT-SCALE）网络中拥有研究经历。主要研究领域包含：运营与供应链管理、社会可持续发展、智能技术和创新。所著论文发表于《Computers and Industrial Engineering》、《International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research》、《Resources Conservation and Recycling, Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice》、《Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review》等期刊上。
Dr. Orji obtained her Ph.D. from the Dalian University of Technology and has previous research experience in the MIT Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Network. Her research interests include operations and supply chain management, social sustainability, and smart technologies/innovation. She has published in journals such as the Computers and Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Resources Conservation and Recycling, Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, among others.
